How would I go about getting my IP switched through my ISP.
    Has anyone tried this?
Do i just call them and ask for it to be switched?

I need my IP switched because I am having problems with a game.

someone told me to switch my MAC address but it didn't work...

your IP address is not related to any GAME issue; you need to port forward
from the router to the IPaddress of your system using the port required for the game.

The ISP will support two kinds of addresses; dynamic and static.

you pay extra for a static ip by registring a domain-name. the name then
has a 1-1 relationship to a specific ip-address. NO ONE, changes the static
address associated with the originating ip-address.

the dynamic ip-address is sufficient for all CLIENT systems and if you wish to
host a game for your friends, then register your name/ip with http://dynadns.org/services.php

It is either that they are bad people or that you are and obnoxious person. Why do you want to go back to that place?

Find somwhere else where you are liked and try to be less of an ***.
