How to trick a USB hub into staying on

    All the USB hubs I own (various brands) shut down when the host computer is turned off. I have a bunch of USB snake lights that I'd like to use as a weird light fixture. You see where I'm going with this -- is there a USB hub product out there that will still send power to all the ports even if it's not attached to a computer? Or is there a way to trick a hub into thinking it's still active?
