How Windows XP handles Synchronization of Hardware

By wheels43
Apr 26, 2006
  1. I am currently writing a research report on the internals of the Windows XP Operating System and I am stuck explaining how the Windows system controls Critical Section entry. I need to know how it handles the synchronization of hardware (mainly the CPU). My book only gives a broad view of how it can be implemented and I need the specifics for Windows. If there are any Windows pros that have any info for me let me know.

    Thanks,
