I recently purchased an HP MDA1500CS (with two 1510i modules) and the MSA30 (with 300GB drives). The MSA only has on SCSI port and the MDA1500CS has to (one SATA/SCSI and one SCSI only). My question is how do I get access to the array itself. I was able to reset the 1510i modules so I can access the web interface, but the status does not show any arrays. Do I have to have a server connected via SCSI to the other port on the MDA? Also if I have to have a server connected as well, can I use Windows 2008 R2?
