    HP Pavillion laptop freezes when not plugged in

    I have an HP Pavillion ze4420us. I've had it for about 1.5 years, and the for the 6 months or so it doesn't like to be unplugged. When I first got it, it would work fine, but recently when I run it unplugged it will lock up at some random time. Sometimes it's OK for an hour, sometimes only a few minutes.

    Kinda defeats some of the reason to have a laptop if I have to keep it plugged in all the time! Anyone have any ideas on what to try?
