What processors will work with the HP XH176 laptop? Im trying to see if I can upgrade to a faster one if my motherboard will allow it..

That will all depend if the cpu is removable, quite a few laptops have their cpu's soldered in and cannot be upgraded without a motherboard replacement which is usually very expensive.

It actually is removable on this laptop.. Im just wondering what the fastest processor it will support is..

what cpu does it have in it at the moment? Laptops are hard to find useful info for sometimes.

Well I do see some forsale on ebay.. But what speed processor will the laptop support?

Because it's an old laptop the chances of finding any useful info for it are almost zero unless you have it's manual.

I have the manual but it doesnt say anything about processor upgrades.. Maybe its best to talk to HP about it..
