hp6980 driver; PC lock-up

    After several tries, I loaded the HP 6980 driver into my Windows Me OS and executed the program. When I try to move the original ".exe" program to another drive or save it on a CD, my PC freezes as soon as I move my cursor onto the file. How do I handle this issue since I am sure that I may have to re-install the driver someday because of Windows ME problems?

    You know, windows ME sucks.

    Try to get all the service packs, or at least try to move on to Windows 2000 / XP.

    My recommendation = Windows 2000 Professional SP4
