I got the HTC One M8 back in May. I currently have the 7GB with Mobile Hotspot plan (I began with 4GB, but that wasn't enough) through Verizon.
I have never been able to access the internet though the hotspot with my computer (Gateway running Windows 8.1). I have found that other Macs, Windows, and other mobile devices can access the internet through the hotspot.
I can connect to the device, but I can't access the internet. I just get the "limited" note by the connection. In the wireless adapter settings, I have no connectivity and I have found nothing odd anywhere on the computer.
I took the phone into Verizon and they had no idea what was happening and told me to check my ip configuration.
