i am stuck in windows classic style!!!

i reinstalled my comp a week ago with a copy of xp sp1.
i normally installed everything, and patched my uxtheme.dll (with windowsx patcher), all was fine. but when windows upgraded to SP2 i became stuck in windows classic style!! when i try to load any style, even xp style, it says it was not possible to load the file.
i tried depatching and patching again, and nothing works.
can anyone help me?

There are specific versions of the uxtheme.dll for each service pack. Did you get the one meant for service pack 2 ?

the "windowsx uxtheme patcher" patches the uxtheme.dll according to the windows version on your computer. and i repatched my uxtheme.dll with a xp2 build 2600 (the current build of my comp), and it dind solve the problem. i guess some other file is currupted or something.
when i try to load any style i get a error message saying that rundll32 encountered a problem and will be closed.
