I fotgot my IP address and password

  1. I forgot the IP address and the password of my router, is there anyway to look for them. Thanks

    Reset the router and hope the password and IP are reset back to default.

    To get the IP, STart / Run, and type CMD In the box it brings up, type IPCONFIG /ALL {don't forget the space}.

    The DNS is the Routers IP Address.

    Depending on what make of router, the login is generally admin , and the password= password, or admin for both.

    That'll be the router as well, unless you use a seperate Modem.

    Thank you for your reply. The reason I know to know the IP address and the password is because I can't access the router’s web-based setup page without them, even though I know IP address, I still can't do that. Thanks anyway
