I have tried Installshields repair-
the one where you check for the 3 stdole files in sys32 folder. I have stdole2 stdole32 in sys32 folder, but stdole is in system folder. They say to put in windows XP home installation cd go to C prompt and expand the missing file from the xp cd to the sys32 folder...here's the problem, I have a Dell machine and the xp operating system cd is branded Dell, it won't let me have access to the files to expand them. Does anyone know of a solution? also,
is the System file supposted to have stdole in it. I'd greatly appreciate any info on this subject. Thanks, johnbc
