I have a virus called Win32/SillyDl.Pw...Help!

Its in a program called rdgUS2405.exe and that file keeps install itself into the Temporary Internet Files folder. My antivirus software detected it and deleted it many times. Somehow, the files keeps duplicate itself or something...How to remove it? Thanx a lot.

I had a similar problem a while back when I downloaded a file that had a virus in it that my AntiVirus program found almost right away and kept finding it in my temp files over and over even after I had dumped them. I can't for the life of me remember how I got rid of it now though .

What program are you using for your AntiVirus. If it keeps poping up I would suggest trying on of these online scanners.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Boot into safe mode, and turn off system restore. Run your antivirus programme and delete what ever it finds.

Then, go and read both these threads by RBS. Follow all the instructions exactly.

How to remove Trojans and its ilk! and How to remove Begin2search / coolwebsearch and other nasties.

Then see. How to post your Hijackthis log-file as an ATTACHMENT.

Only post a HJT log after doing the above.
