I have been hijacked - help

I have attached my hijack log, i have tried everything and followed all instructions to remove malware/ viruses but nothing has worked.

Problem is my comp keeps powering off by itself whilst in use. Pls help.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad). Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

O18 - Filter hijack: text/html - {2AB289AE-4B90-4281-B2AE-1F4BB034B647} - (no file)

Click on the fix checked button.

Close HJT and reboot your system.

Other than the above, your HJT log is clean.

It`s possible this is not malware related.

Go and read this thread HERE and see if it helps you to identify the culprit.

If it doesn`t, please attach 5 or 6 of your latest minidumps.

Thanks man, I followed yr instructions also installed the speedfan and it shows Temp2 at 99c - any idea what that is?

On my system, temp2 is my cpu. You can always make sure by downloading and running the free Everest programme.

99°C if it is your cpu, is way too high and would account for your problem.

Thanks bro! Followed yr instructions and cleaned out the entire CPU there was so much dust in the fan and in other parts which was quite shocking. The temp is staying around 65c now and so far no more sudden crashes.

Is that temp at idle or under load?

If it`s at idle, then it`s still too high.

Not sure what is underload, it varies from 55C then up to 65c when downloading or using the comp for emails, browsing etc... I will buy a air-can and spray it later behind the cooling fan - this might help more.

Underload is when you are using your computer for gaming for example.

Idle is when your computer is on, but isn`t doing anything.
