posting your email in a public forum is foolish unless you like spam.

suggesting a laptop is a personal choice, but consider what you will use it for.
At a minimum a laptop must have at least 512 to 1gb RAM.
decent battery life
wifi
and ample HD space for your programs.

if you are playing music or watching a lot of movies consider a wide screen and decent speakers.

I don't recommend laptops for games.

it all depend on the first choice, and even now many laptops range from 12"-20"

As already said, you have to state the purpose of this laptop and also what your budget is.
