I need to know, what CPU is better?

  1. When I bought my Motherboard, it came with a Pentium 630, but I never inteded on keeping that, and after a few months, I upgraded to an 830. But, what one is better for gaming? The dual core one is way faster for just, doing regular windows stuff, but when gaming, it ONLY uses one core, and then the game also runs the server on that one core, well, you get the idea.

    What should I be using?

many games do not take advantage of duel core technology.

true but hopelly games will be designed in the future to utilize multiple cores
it really comes to personal use:
if you game more than daily use, use the faster single core
if you prefer multitask and heavy app, use the dual core

I game, but its a 630, those arn't really high end. Would one core on my 830 be as good, worse, better?
