I/O Magic Hurricane Extreme and Cakewalk

    I have the I/O Magic Hurrican Extreme sound card (at least temporarily) and am trying to use Cakewalk because I am a musician and use it for recording guitar/drums/bass/vocals. The sound card I have is not working with Cakewalk.

    I am thinking about buying the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card or the Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer, but the thing is I want pretty decent sound quality in games, but mostly the reason I need a decent sound card is for recording purposes. So if anyone has any suggestions that know anything about recording, please let me know. Thanks.
