I had my external hard drive in my purse and I had a bottle of water in there as well. Yea..my purse was soaked with water...and my external HD had water in it too, so I had to shake out the water...

I havent tried to see if it worked yet because I want it to dry...any clue if it will be damaged or any way to fix it, if I can't get it to work?

It's a Seagate - FreeAgent Go 120GB External Hard Drive

Thanks!

If you can get it completely dry, it should work fine. But if you plug it in when it is wet, there is a good chance something will fry.

Is there any (easy) way to open it up? If not, if you have floor heater vents (although if you are in CA you might not be using a heater) you could set it on there to dry out completely.

:stickout: yea....i do not have a floor vent...my old home did..hehe..

i'll give it a try..thanks!
