I would like to add Spanish symbols to some documents

I would like to add Spanish symbols to some documents, but the steps I found include using the NUM LOCK key. Is there a way to get that key on my Toshiba Satellite 1400 laptop?

On my Toshiba Satellite A10 it's Function Key+F11

Yes, it's usually either a FN + Key, or a Shift + Key to turn Num Lock on and off.

Have a look toward the top buttons on the Toshiba and see if you see NumLk or something similar.

I have an IBM Thinkpad, and it is bound to the Scroll Lock key.
