IE freezing unless opened "without addons"

Hello guys

My IE keeps freezing then becomes non responsove if not opened "without addons" and keeps opening a new window each time i visit a new site...

Ran AVG anti spyware, anti virus and SpybotS&D but to no evail.

Would be greatful for speedy response

OS: Windows XP
RAM: 1024m Recently Upgraded
Brand: HP (compaq nx 9010)

Has tons of free space harddrive

Your IE browser works fine when you open it without any addons. Correct?

Best solution is trial and error to determine which ad-on is causing problems.

1. Close all IE Windows
2. Opend a new IE Window
3. Tools -> Manage Addons -> Enable or Disable Addons
4. Set: Show Addons Currently Loaded in Internet Explorer
5. Disable each addon shown
6. Repeat until the problem starts again
-----Enable one Addond
-----Close all IE Windows
------Start IE Windows
------Does IE work OK. Yes, keep looping until no.
