IE6 Search Companion

    The Search Companion / Side Bar opens every time I launch IE6. This never did this before, and I can not find a way to stop it. This is happening on all profiles on my XP machine. I can close it with no problem, but would prefer that it does not open with IE launch.

    That is strange, when I close the search bar, then close the browser, when I open it back up there is no search bar. I don't think it has anything to do with this, but have you run any antivirus recently?

    I have run my anti-virus program several times in the past few weeks. (I am running NIS 2003, completely updated) Nothing has been found. It all started after I ran the Windows security updates posted a few weeks ago. It's just a pain.
