IEXPLORE Killing ...

  1. I have a very very weird problem with my IE6 (I'm running W2K)

When I open an html file from HDD, it's OK
Then if I close IE and open another file, nothing happens.
Then, if I kill the iexplore.exe process (still running after I closed the first IE instance !!!) the second page appears immidiately.

It's like as if Iexplore is not killed immidiately when I close it (I have to wait about two minutes and then the first process dissapears ...)

I tried to uninstall IE6 (restored IE 5.5) and install IE6 again, the problem is still there ...

Anyone have an idea ?
