If you could test drive any car in any place in the world what would it be?

For me it would have to be the Pagani Zonda C12 F around Nürburgring in Germany. This car is my dream car, it is a very good car and to have the oppurtunity to drive one around The Nürburgring would be truly epic. I would love to own one but it's way out of my price range. i'll just have to settle for good ol' Subaru WRX Sti... If i can ever afford one of them :(

I would test drive the 1968 Plymouth VIP at Laguna Seca.

Seriously.

I don't even wanna post the specs considering I'm to lazy.

Koenigsegg CCXR on the road from Davos to the Stelvio Pass in Switzerland.

That car WOULD kill me on that road, but what better way to go out?

Ah the Koenigsegg. Was expecting that one :D There is a lot of cars i would prefer to drive much more than that

It has a V12 engine, not V60.

Well i did copy that straight from the Pagani site so... what SNGX said

Not a real petrol head as such

But

I would love to drive the Bugatti Veyron, any long straight road would do, just as long as I could get the bu&&er up to its top speed,,,,

Regards

A: Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead
Bristol Fighter
Jaguar Mark 2
Jaguar XJ (pre-2003)
Aston Martin DBS
Ferrari 430 Spyder

And my secret wishes
1960's Mecedes convertible or a Delorean DMC-12

Quite a long list... but I want them all, no matter how I get them :D

If i had to pick one it would probably be the Rolls

+1 for Nurburgring. I've always wanted to test drive an NSX... just because I'm a honda guy.

No, no, 55, not 75.

I have a change of heart. I would like to test drive a 1952 Dodge B-series truck....

20 leaf springs on each side, ftw.

If I was to become really rich I'd have to go for a Merecedes SLR McLaren Roadster.....AMG-built supercharged 24 valve 90 degree V8(5.5 liter)...617hp @6500rpm....575 lb-ft@3250-5000 rpm and it's all in a nice small package.

Hrmm. 1979 Trans Am.. My dream car. :D

But instead of the usual Black w/ Gold Phoenix, I'd have to get Silver w/ Black Phoenix.

Specs for Stock:
4 speed borg warner super t10 transmission
400ci Pontiac engine (ported and polished heads)
t-tops
ws6 package
4wheel disc breaks
15x8 snowflake rims
edelbrock aluminum intake
holley 750 carb
centerforce clutch
hurst shifter
3.73 gears
hooker competition headers
3 inch dual exhaust with 3 inch flow through mufflers

Not the fastest car on the block, but it's looks make up for everything it lacks, anyways, just stick a shot of N2O in there and you're fine. :D

Dodge 330
lime green
or
and orange koenigsegg CCR
with spider chromes
i have a thing for spiders
[but not the car]

Thank you siredhuman, the 330 was a GOOD choice.

Elvrage, I'll bet you don't know what most of the stuff you just typed meant........

(in advance, yes, I know him in real life, so don't criticize me!)

What do you mean not know what it means?

Of course I know what it means...

Bugatti Veyron / Any road any place (as long as there is no traffic)

The Bugatti Veyron is a car built around an engine. Essentially, Bugatti made the decision to blow the doors off the supercar world by creating a 1,000-horsepower engine. Everything else follows from that resolution.

How would you define the most amazing production car in the world? Would it be:

The car with the most horsepower?
The car with the fastest top speed and acceleration?
The most expensive car?

At the moment, the Bugatti Veyron appears to have it all:

A W-16 engine that can produce 1,001 horsepower
A top speed of 250+ mph (400+ kph)
A zero-to-60 time of three seconds
A zero-to-180 time of 14 seconds
A price tag somewhere in the $1.2 million range.

THATS ALL I GOT TO SAY ABOUT THAT

I think. (my daddy claimed anyway) that the Allison engines in the WW2 P51 Mustang were based in Cadillac V-12 and V-16 designs of the 1930s. (This needs more research than I'm willing to commit at the moment. However, those motors did make more than 1000 HP. (In Aircraft form). Anyway, the V-12s and V-16s were built for smoothness. not altogether for high horsepower. Review, 4 stroke engine theory, a 12 cylinder 4 cycle will generate a power stroke every 60 degrees of crankshaft rotation, as opposed to a 4 cylinder's every 180.

Honda's "V65 Magna"(motorcycle), had an advertised 0 to 60 time of 2.3 seconds the year it was released, 1983. (Bikes are a b***** in the 1/8 mile drag.

I probably would have to agree with you that the Veyron would be the ultimate "kick the tires and go' kind of driving rush. A little bit easier than lighting up a bike though, at least you couldn't wind up with it laying on your chest from an unannounced wheel stand.
