I have just bought a Prolite E435S and I have a slight problem.

When I start up my pc the display shows all the motions of the pc booting up until I get to the start up screen which shows up nothing, I then have to turn the monitor power switch off then on again to view the start up screen so I can log on, has anyone got any ideas ?
I am using Windows XP Pro O/S and a Radeon 9800 pro graphics card.
My previous monitor was a Compaq S700 CRT which never had this problem.

Just plug-off the s-video cabel from your video card. Beacause I think, that the grapich card can't adjust different resolution for the two output at the same time. I hope this help , because I had the same problem, and it taken some time, while I solved.

I also have bought this IIyama TFT and experience no screen during intial boot, but after a few times switching off and rebooting it the screen eventually works OK. Can anybody explain a fix or explain in more detail how to plug off the S-Video Port - Thanks
