ok - this is probably really basic 4 most of u BUT- I'm wondering what the blue jack is for on the back of my soundcard-- the pink one is for my mic, the green is for my speakers, and the blue one is for ??? I believe I have an Avance AC97 -? at least that what it says when I go to control panel/sounds & audio devices -- thanx peepole-:grinthumb -sorry so dumb

is it safe to plug / unplug things into those jacks while the computer is running?
u were right -- its the line in! yay! -- now im just wondering if its safe to plug / unplug stuff while the comp iz running or do i haveta turn it off 1st? I wanna transfer some of my cassette tape collection to cd's -- i've got the cord, the burner, and WINAMP - ready to rock n roll!
