In a Hurry for MOBO replacement

  1. Hello! A friend just asked me for help, his computer stopped working, find out a bad PSU, but MOBO died, it was an ECS 848-P, the problem is that he's on a very tight budget, the problem also is that he was using this computer for gaming, here are the specs:
    Celeron D 2.4Ghz (socket 478), 1 GB DDR400, GeForce 4 TI 4200 (AGP 4X), I replaced his PSU with an Enlight 500W with 28A on 12V rail, but I don't know which MOBO get for him, i don't want to get another ECS i know those have a very bad reputation specially for gaming, please a need your advice, like a I said he's on a very tight budget so that will be around $50, I was looking at new egg but not sure about the options, I've seen this ones let me know what do you think

    I'll appreciate your fast responses, because he really need his computer not just for gaming also because he use it for his job and still have to wait for the shipping, Thank you so much for your help!!

    I would recommend your first choice as I had a couple of MSI board and they've all worked fine. Also those boards your chose are micro one (small) make sure your case has the correct hole for screwing in a micro board. The type is usaly typed next to the hole ie micro atx.
