In market for a reasonably well priced DVD drive

I need to get myself a new optical drive and I'm at a loss as to what kind to get. I know that DVD would be the best, as I do allot of gaming and hate having to switch cds during an install. It would be great if the drive did not have a tray. Also, if someone could run through the specs one should look at when looking at DVD drives, that would be great!!

You want the drive to be able to support dual-layer and write both DVD-R and DVD+R. A DVD-ROM is a useless purchase in our time.

last week end deal was hival dvd dual 16x 29.99 with rebates
check compusa has there onw auctions now
I bought my dual 16x nec from new egg mail rebate total 35.00 USD
sometimes walk deal are better sometimes the internet wil have better gotta watch
