Hiya guys, been a while since I've posted, but this ones got me stumped LOL

stopping short of doing a full system destructive restore, I dunno what else to do at the moment...so I hope someone can help :)

I'll check the logs for malware, but poor performance could be due to other reasons.

Will be back as soon as I check the logs.

EDIT: Logs reviewed:
Reason 1 for poor performance: 26 processes starting on boot including ALL HP Digital Imaging processes, iPod, iTunes, multiple media players> Real Player, QuickTime, several mobile technology processes.

Reason 2 is a significant number of files carrying around the malware MyWebSearch.

But you're really not telling me much with
Poor System Performance

Are you slow? Are the functions and features that don't work? What's happening? I would also like to know how much RAM you have to support all these running processes.

Fill me in please and we'll go from there.
