[Inactive] Poor System Performance (8 Step Logs attached)

  1. hiya guys, been a while since i've posted, but this ones got me stumped LOL

    stopping short of doing a full system destructive restore, i dunno what else to do at the moment...so i hope someone can help :)

    I'll check the logs for malware, but poor performance could be due to other reasons.

    Will be back as soon as I check the logs.

    EDIT: Logs reviewed:
    Reason 1 for poor performance: 26 processes starting on boot including ALL HP Digital Imaging processes, iPod, iTunes, multiple media players> Real Player, QuickTime, several mobile technology processes.

    Reason 2 is a significant number of files carrying around the malware MyWebSearch.

    But you're really not telling me much with
    Are you slow? Are the functions and features that don't work? What's happening? I would also like to know how much RAM you have to support all these running processes.

    Fill me in please and we'll go from there.
