Hello, new here so just followed the guidelines with the attachments. HJTlog, Combofix, and AVG log, and as for the AntiRootKit scan nothing was found.
Basically the symptoms I have been having is that when I start the computer the Symantec AntiVirus autoprotection thing would pop-up and show
Scan type: Auto-Protect Scan
Event: Threat Found!
Threat:Infostealer.Gampass
File:C://goes on
Location:C://goes on, ends up being some random .tmp file in the Sysmantec folder
Computer:
User:System
Action Taken: Clean failed: Quarantine filed : Delete Succeeded Access Denied
Date found:
This would basically continueously pop-up and spam infinitely notifications. So need some help clearing these things
, it still persist after all the steps from 1-15 so far in the tutorial so thus im posting now.
