Installing a new Video Card

I have a Gateway desktop with an integrated Video Card. I have purchased a new AGP card. I have read that I do not have to uninstall teh integrated card, but only need to install this new card. Is that true? Or do I need to make BIOS changes? Thanks for the information

Probably you have to set agp in your bios as the active video output. (or something very similar to this regarding keywords "agp" & "video" in the bios configuration. in old cases maybe even you have to set jumpers.
It would be good to find out which motherboard you are working with (look the manual up, or try finding it from your computer model on gateway's site, or better yet use sisoft sandra for trying to find out what you have, find sisoft sandra @ guru3d.com)
