installing old hard drive in new comp

    i have an hp comp, i bought it from best buy so i dont have the windows xp install cd. and i want to install a cloned hard drive from the hp computer onto a new computer i built. i cloned the hard drive with ghost and it works just like the original(i unplugged original and ran the pc on the cloned one and worked fine). but when i put it in the new comp it says searching for DMI pool and freezes, i read somewhere that you had to delete some drives before installing it but i have no idea what to do can someone please help me im desparate =/

    First off, we do not condone piracy here, which is what you are doing with your cloning.

    Apart from that, unless the receiving computer has 100% identical hardware to the original computer, this will never work, because different hardware requires different mobo-drivers etc.
