Alright, so i've spent hours on google and have tried everything to "downgrade" my laptop from windows vista premium to windows xp.
Like everybody else that has tried doing this, i encounter this message after rebooting my computer with the XP cd and hitting enter to install xp: "setup did not find any hard disk drives installed...."
i found out that i'd have to make a new boot disc using some program called nlite. However, i would need the drivers for my hard drive, which are close to impossible to find. It is a seagate st9160821as 160GB driver.
laptop:
hp dv2600
Nvidia 8400
2 gigs ram
t7500
does anyone know where i can find the driver for my hard drive or have any solutions to my problem? thanks
