Intel CEO says Broadwell will be ready in time for the holidays

If you have 32/64-bit Dual or Quad Core with 8 GB of DDR2 800MHz or DDR3 1600MHz that's going to last you until the OS, Software and Online 3D Gaming demands a faster 128-512-bit Core DDRX 3200MHz or higher and more than 32 GB RAM. Then it will be the time to invest in new system.

Like I say I am waiting a new Transparent hardware to roll out. What I have will be it! I see no rush to spend more on current tech needs hasn't change much. Look a lot of us are still using USB 2.0 even though I use that more than I use my USB 3.0 ports which I have only 4 devices that support USB 3.0. Bluetooth devices aka PAN don't even use them maybe 1%.

It's like the same with 802.11N all WiFi devices still use 802.11N where I don't see much call to purchase 802.11AC or 802.11AD. Unless hardware and software supports it then the need would be to buy it only if your need is required. If hardware fails and your need is to buy the current tech then yes buy it. If not they good reading until the next new idea comes out from Intel.

Tablet sales are not so hot if the prices keep so high most will look for something else to get. But if your surrounded by laptops, netbooks and desktop and your have your tablet in your hand or even a smart phone then you have your hands full!
