Intel DX38BT: 1.5V versus 1.7V memory

I am running Corsair DDR3, 10600 memory on an Intel DX38BT board. The native Bios voltage for the board is 1.5V. I am only running the memory at the default 1066 speed. The memory is rated as 1.7V memory. If I only want to continue to run the memory at the 1066 speed, do I still have to reset the voltage to the 1.7V value, or will it be stable enough at the 1.5V value?

I would leave it along until problem arrive.
