  1. Does anyone here know whether the Intel Graphics Media Experience (GMA) 900 is compatible with DX 9.0c or 10?? I read on a not-so-recent article of technicle information on the chipset that it was compatible with DX 9 but i'm not sure whether that includes 9.0c. Any one know??

My experience with ANY Intel integrated graphics is that they SUCK big time so if you plan on playing games with it, I would diffently consider buying a actual video card. Intel says that it only supports shader model 2.0 which means that it is only a Directx 9.0 card.

    Huh......?

The Intel GMA900 hub is discontinued, I think. The're up to GMA3000 (or so), which as I understand it, still sucks.

so far, all the integrated provide very low, and non-playable frame rates on modern games, wish they didn't :)...
that would mean though that nvidia, ati and s3 die :p
