Internet disconnect every 10-20 for couple seconds

Hello ,

lately my computer keep disconnecting from the internet for couple of seconds every 20 mins.
I have local area connection , internet cable that plugs into my cumputer.
help pls , im starting to freak out :O

From your brief explanation, since its a local area connection, it is possible that the LAN port is bad or one of the pins have fallen out. You can easily buy a new LAN cable to see if it sorts the problem. In addition, try to use the wifi or VPN service if you have one to confirm if this happens too.

Log into the router, find the wan side and set the MTU to 1492 - - this will stop packet fragmentation.

while you're there, get the firmware version and then see if there's an update for it
