When I try to install IE Beta 7 I get a message saying that it did not install and to check my systems logs. Anyone have any idea where I can find the system logs? I dont see them in the systemfloder or the system 32 folder either. I do have SP2 and Netframe 2.0 installed so I know I am ok there!

"I found a newsgroup that suggested one take a look at the updspapi.log in the windows directory. In my log I found this #E008 Setting registry value HKCR\.application\bootstrap
#E033 Error 5: Access is denied. I setup up the Admin permissions to full control in the registry key and I was able to install successfully."

my ie7beta2p.log and ie7beta2_main.log ended up in the windows folder if that's what you're after

But Tedster, what does it mean if you changed your avatar right after he started using it??? :haha:
I changed it because I saw THREE newbies that were using it.
I made my own. (scanned one of my uniform patches and reduced it.)
