    dsl, cable, both unavaible :(
    im surprised dial up is even availible in my area, :rolleyes:
    i hear there are sattelite optioins, all running with high set-up fees, and high monthly payments,
    am i right? or is there a normal priced satelitte internet provider out there?
    if anyone knows please help me...dial up blows

    Do a google for ISPs in [yourtown], VA
    Check also for ADSL, which goes over the normal telephone line.
    Do not try anything to do with AOL!

    wish you had warned me about that 5 or 6 years ago

    lol, ive had AOL in my house ever since i was young, and yes AOL is horrible, ive heard of people calling and trying to cancel and have to go through alot of BS.

    if none of these options are availible, anyone have any dial up ideas, i mean i really dislike AOL, and really hate dial up.
    the dumb noises it makes when i get on even pisses me off :)
