Internet Problems

i have been having some problems getting to certain sites. When i open my internet it takes me to the homepage which is yahoo. it works fine and i can search other sites, but some of them dont work. right now i am in safe mode with networks just trying to figure this out. also when i type an address it will freeze. i do the whole ctrl alt delete process and it says that the internet is not responding. it worked earlier in the day and just all of a sudden froze completly and i turned the computer back on and now i cant get to sites like myspace or facebook. i can get on google though. can someone help me out?

Spyware probably.
