Internet Shutting off every five minutes or so

  1. On WiFi 4 bars always, but I keep getting disconnected every couple minutes. It reconnects a minute later and runs for another 5 mins or so. Its an endless process, Would appreciate any help.

    First, if your ISP is over a DSL line, make sure every device connected to the phone wall jack(s) have a filter installed.

    Second, get the latest firmware for your Modem && the router installed.

    Lastly, on your router, find and set the MTU to 1492 which will stop packet fragmentation.
