Hi

I have 512 Kbps lease line for internet. I have eathernet cards supporting up 10mbps. when i wants to download from net then i am getting the speed up 3mbps.

I want to increase the download speed up to at least 90 %.

what should i must do to get this out put.

You are getting 3Mbits through a 512Kbit line.. What are you complaining about?

First thing, use a faster download source. Use some server from your ISP to test speeds.

The practical speed of hubbed ethernet is about 50% so depending on the amount of hosts on your network 3Mbit real speed is quite normal. You can get better speeds by replacing hubs with switches and optimising network topology.

Chech the specs of the bridge on your leased line to see its speed limits. Also, VPN devices may slow down traffic due to slow CPUs.
