A friend erased her dell driver partition, and so i put xp pro on it. This error message comes up, so i went into safe mode and looked at the drivers, the LAN and the VGA adapter drivers are still screwed up, even though i went through dells drivers site.

HELP!!!!!

Go to Windows Update, and install Windows XP Service Pack 2. Do this from safe mode (info on safe mode here).

Nope

I cant, i dont have any networking right now, the drivers i found dont work.

Are you saying that the hard drive is partitioned? Is there more than one operating system on the drive?

nope, dell usually partitions the drive with a little like 1-2gb spot for drivers. I disabled the last thing i havent got working, the ethernet adapter, and now i have a 00000007E error.
