IO error when I try to upload

Anywhere I try to upload a file I the page times out and says theres an IO error. Does anyone know what would fix said error? It happens with any upload I try. I've tried with internet explorer(god have mercy), firefox and chrome all with no luck at all. I do not use a router.

Run chkdsk /r on the drive.

Ran it and it comes up that the disk is clean.

Put the file on USB stick if it can fit and try to upload the file? Do you get the same error message. What are you using to upload the file too?

I'll try on a usb and on an SD card. I've tried to upload to filefront,garrysmod.org,mediafire,rapidshare and they all give the same or similar error messages.

Ok just tried it on my ipod and my sd card. Same issue.
