I've been a long time fan of ASUS products, but recently I've noticed signs of trouble. Their forums have been down for at least a week (hadn't checked for a long time prior to that). And all the US email support forms are inoperable (error out on submission). I've sent an email to the ASUS US tech support email address.

Has anyone heard any news on the relative health of the company?

I've just double-checked their site and many links from it.....all seem fine from this end. Do you have the URL to their forums?

hmm - my links were bad in that last post - here they are corrected...

here's the link to their forums. From there you have access to the email form , which loads but errors out when you submit. There's another email form from their helpdesk URL. That also loads but errors out when you submit.

Ive heard of this happening with other companies when they overhaul their systems or web sites and dont bother to let their customer know.

Maybe. It's a shame, though. Those forums are a real nice resource. In particular when you're building a new system.
