Is free versions enough?

Hi i know you guys all recommend to use avg, zonealarm, or kiero (now sunbelt?) but are the free/trial versions enough? Thoughts?

I`ve used free versions of antivirus/firewall/antispyware for years and have never had any virus problems, so I`d say yes they are enough.

I suppose the bottom line is, how sensible you are online. Nearly every system I help to clean, is infected though poor surfing/security practices.

I have Norton Internet Security, but, as I've said before, this isn't my computer. I disabled the Norton firewall though and am running the free Kerio program instead. That's working fine for me.
