  1. My AT&T/SBC Global Anti-spy program shows Isearch (Spyware), Ursnif (Password Capture), and ImIServer (Adware). I've run about 5 other programs trying to remove it (Spybot, AVG, Ad-aware) and it still shows up on the AT&T search. Any advise would be appreciated. I just bought this computer used and don't have the original Windows XP installation CD. There is nothing really important on it so I can reformat it I have to. The computer seemed to work fine until I left it at home while I was travelling and my 10-year old must of downloaded some things.

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.

    Regards Howard
