I don`t know what the problem is there, maybe some kind of corruption. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the programme.

Regards Howard :)

AVG 7.5 free Anti Virus and
AVG Anti-Spyware are all you need.I didn't even know about Anti_Rootkit
till now,Thanks i'll avoid it.
But if you want to invest a small sum,Get
VCom Fix-It .Try the 30 day trial.

zipperman: AVG Antirootkit is an excellent programme and this is the first time I`ve heard of any problems with it. I think it`s likely that xanimefanx`s copy has become corrupt in some way, which, as no doubt you know can happen to any programme.

Regards Howard :)

Both of those antivirus programmes are very good. Personally, I use AVG, but that`s probably down to my personal preference as I`ve used AVG for years.

I read the details on it.I need to know how and why i need it.
It just says theres could be antiroot in your system.
What are the symptoms to say i need it.
My system is very clean ans stable.I don't need a "maybe i need it" software.

I found it in my Registry/Microsoft
Value 000
Do you think i should run Antirootkit ?

The AVG Antirootkit programme as it`s name suggests searches for and can delete rootkit infections. Rootkits are very specialised infections that hide from normal antivirus/antispyware programmes. You can find instructions for using the AVG Antirootkit programme in step11 of this thread HERE. It certainly wouldn`t hurt to run AVG Antirootkit as per the instructions.
