Is my TFT going to be better or worse than my Dell M992 CRT?

Hello, i have a TFT monitor with an awfull response time (25ms-30ms), this makes playing games awfull. Would someone tell me if this monitor is any better, would games be smoother?

TFT:
Philips Brilliance 150P2
0.3mm DOT pitch
1024x768 @ 65HZ

CRT:
Dell M992
0.24 DOT pitch
1600x1400 @ 85HZ

Wouldn't that depend on its response time? What is it?

I think 16ms or better would be fine for most gaming.

The CRT screens dont have a response time.

I misunderstood and thought you were talking about the TFT monitor without realizing the TFT you listed is the one you already had. So to try to answer your question again, I think the Dell CRT would be better than a slow responding TFT.

That said, if you want to go to a CRT, there are lots of choices besides Dell, not that there is anything wrong with the Dell.
