I got an alert from Kaspersky about this file after I installed Verizon on my computer. The file is located at C:\...\common fiels\verizon online\sfp\vzbb.dll. It could have something to do with the toolbar I think.

I'm thinking since it's from Verizon it should be okay, but Kaspersky is telling me it needs to be disinfected. Can anyone tell me about this?

    Thanks.

vzbb.dll is deffinitely part of the Verizon toolbar. it is considered to be safe.

Do a Google search for vzbb.dll.

Apparently it is flagged as a trojan etc by several antivirus programmes and spyware programmes. This is a false positive and nothing to worry about.

Having said all that. If you don`t need the toolbar, simply uninstall it.

    Regards Howard :)

    Thanks Howard! :grinthumb

I figured it was nothing, but better safe than sorry, right? This comp is brand new!
