Hi Guys, i build an 5 channels amp and i have 5 speakers, i have an SoundCard with 5 channels Output, i found that if the song is just 2 channels the output will be to the Front Speakers, is possible to send the output to the Front and Rear Speakers?

Thanks in advance.

as long as you have front, rear inputs for your
amp that you built & front, rear ouputs, then yes
you can.

plug another jack (3.5 mm mini jack/RCA) from your sound card's
rear output to the rear input of the amp then you're ready to go.

& dont forget, the rear speakers connected to the rear output
channel of your amp.

well, i have the 4 channels connected to the amp.

if i use the test of the sound card, the 4 speakers sound, or if i put any Dolby movie works too, but the problems are that i want to play an 2 channels source (like an mp3) in the 4 channels.

ok,how was your amp connected to your sound card?
what ouputs did you used (to your amp)? ie: front/rear outputs to your
amp.how many cables/leads did you used?

as well as how were your speakers connected to your amp?

front channels of the Sound Card coonected to front channels of the Amp, and rear channels of the SC connected to the Rear channels of the Amp :)

im using 2 cables. each stereo plug to the SC, and the RCA connected to the Amp.

then your amp should be fine, firing sounds through your front & rear
speakers.

have you check your speaker settings from your sound card's
sound manager?or retasking the audio ouputs perhaps?
so you would switch on the rear & front outputs of your sound card
to produce the sound.

what is your sound card model?

on-board or PCI sound card?

please supply the info & it may help alot.

also try this:

with your front & rear speakers connected to your amp,
try switching (swap) the plugs/leads of the front & rear
outputs from your sound card.

if both outputs of your sound card's front & rear fires up a sound,
but only comes from one channel (front speakers only or rear speakers
only),then there's something wrong with the amp's audio channel.

and if only one audio ouput from your sound card is working
(either front or rear),then the settings of your sound card's
audio output is not set to give a sound to that particular channel.
