Is SATA 3.0Gb/s similar to the SATA 150?

    All SATA 300 devices are backwards-compatible. You can plug a SATA 300 drive into your mobo and it will work just fine.

    i have a question about sata 2 and i figured this post was about it so it usless to make a new one. is sata 2 the same tihng as sata 3.0 g gb\s? thanks

    oh thanks, if i get a board with an sata 2 slot sata 3.0 bggb\s will work
